Dr. DON SIMBORG is the full-time faculty member of the #JohnsHopkinsUniversity and the #UniversityofCalifornia, San Francisco (#UCSF) Schools of Medicine, member of the Computer Sciences and Telecommunications Board of the #NationalAcademy of #Sciences, Author of “What Comes After Homo Sapiens?”.
His research and academic focus is on the use of computers in medicine for electronic medical records and medical decision-making. He left academic medicine to become the founder and CEO of two venture-funded companies involved in medical informatics serving #healthcare IT companies,
Together with Doctor DON SIMBORG, we will be getting more on this new species, “Homo nouveau”, a new human species that will soon come to co-exist with us… created using #ArtificialIntelligence and #GeneticEngineering; both important tools which are in their infancy.
