Takeaways from “Copywriting” by Mark Shaw [Book Review by Davide Scialpi]
Hey Linkediners, welcome back to my Linkedin Blog. How are things going?
Have you noticed from the post picture that the summer is just behind the corner?
The sun is shining on us like never before here in London. So, It’s definitely time for going on holidays.
But before that, before leaving the city, let’s bear in mind not to forget to bring with us a couple of marketing books that we can easily read among all the amazing things we will do during our deserved relaxing days. Books are our friends.
Therefore, as you might have imagined, it’s now time for another book review.
Today, our review is dedicated to a book written by Mark Shaw about the art of Copywriting. It’s called “Copywriting: succesful writing for design, advertising and marketing”and I do think it’s a lovely and not heavy reading for your days under the bright sun of a paradisiac beach in Mexico like in Greece.
The goal of his work is to simply help people in the content marketing industry improve their writing skills for sales purposes.
Imho, this book represents a good start for people who want to understand the basics of adv writing and for all those who have a need to know how to communicate and promote the value propositions of their companies today through a message on new and old media.
It’s full of visual examples and how-to models. So, something useful for Content Marketing beginners!
As it always happens, I read for you this book and I personally selected a series of managerial takeaways and thoughts that can stimulate your synapses. Enjoy your reading!
